Very much looking forward completing my book 'Objects and Attitudes' this fall/winter, now under contract with Oxford University Press. The book develops the view that sentences do not stand for propositions playing the role of objects, but rather act semantically as predicates of a range of attitudinal and modal objects. The ideas have been developed over several years, mainly in connection with various activities that I had pursued in the Philosophy Department at NYU (lectures, conversations, and workshops, see also here).
